As a design enthusiast, I have had the privilege of exploring various design technologies during my tenure at Parsons. Below are some of the projects I have undertaken that have helped sharpen my design skills, passion and dedication towards my creative practice.
Form Follows is a TouchDesigner project that explores the interplay between motion, colour, and form. The project is designed to showcase the software's camera capabilities and motion capture features, creating a visually striking experience for the viewer.
The aesthetic of Form Follows is characterised by a bold red, black, and white colour scheme. The project features a series of shapes and forms that move and morph in response to the viewer's movements. The shapes are designed to be simple and abstract, creating a sense of minimalism and elegance. The shapes move in response to the viewer's movements. The use of motion capture through the camera in allows the viewer to become an active participant in the experience. The viewer's movements are captured in real-time and used to manipulate the shapes and forms on the screen.
