As a design enthusiast, I have had the privilege of exploring various design technologies during my tenure at Parsons. Below are some of the projects I have undertaken that have helped sharpen my design skills, passion and dedication towards my creative practice.
The Orbital Motion project is a mesmerizing visual experience that showcases the interconnectedness of all things in the universe. The sphere-like structure made up of multiple dots represents celestial bodies such as planets and stars, each moving around in their own unique orbits. The movement of the dots is animated, creating an ever-changing display of cosmic choreography.
As the dots move and interact with each other, they create intricate patterns that evoke a sense of awe and wonder at the vastness and beauty of the universe. The Orbital Motion project is a celebration of the harmony and balance found in the natural world. It invites viewers to contemplate their place in the cosmos and reflect on the interconnectedness of all things.
In terms of aesthetics, the Orbital Motion project is characterized by its minimalist design and use of color. The dots are rendered in shades of white and gray, the background is black, allowing the dots to stand out and creating a sense of depth and space. The overall effect is both calming and mesmerizing, creating a meditative space for viewers to lose themselves in the beauty of the cosmos.
